Hayden McDougal is a 2024 SS/RHP, C, 3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Clinton, MS who attends Clinton. Large and projectable frame, has strength present and more room to fill. Ran an 8.37 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield moves to the baseball with long strides, hands are playable and will improve with adjustments to gather, developing footwork with actions that can continue to improve. Secondary righthanded pitcher, uses an overhead windup into a leg lift to his belt line, coils over his backside at the top of his windup before landing online to the plate, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, fastball topped out at 72 mph and mixed in a curveball with developing spin. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a spread out stance and a high hand set, takes a long swing plane through the hitting zone, has a lift to his path, pull side approach, will continue to improve with additional strength to his frame.
