Albert Garza is a 2021 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Santa Fe, TX who attends Santa Fe. Ran a 7.01-second sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a clean funnel out front and good transfer to throw. Has some athleticism to the frame, moving well and showing good arm strength across the diamond. Makes throws from a longer arm action with accurate carry up to 88 mph. Switch hitter that starts from an upright and slightly open stance, with a reaching leg lift trigger and linear shift to contact. Has a line drive barrel plane from both sides of the plate, executing a middle of the field approach and creating consistent, line drive contact. Swings with intent to drive the baseball and shows more present feel for the barrel right side. Good student.
