Aiden Colvin is a 2022 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF with a 5-11 188 lb. frame from Benton, LA who attends Benton. Large and physical frame with strength present on his build. Ran a 7.13 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield fielding the baseball out in front while bending at the waist, mechanically sound fundamentals fielding the ball with a average arm strength across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, side step delivery up to a high leg lift, takes his arm back to a full arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, fastball topped out at 77 mph with a three pitch mix. Also worked out in the outfield with a high arm slot release and full arm stroke. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance in the box, compact swing while staying inside with his hand path, good extension through contact and a middle of the field approach. Good student.
