Ethan Moran is a 2022 RHP with a 6-2 162 lb. frame from El Monte, CA who attends South Hills. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher, athleticism on the mound and repeats delivery, lands closed with strike foot coming down the mound, longer arm path through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, able to work to either side of the plate, mostly true in life through the zone, mixes well and shows running life at times. Throws a two-seam fastball in the mid-70s with nice action to it, can incorporate it more often into repertoire. Slider shows sweeping life from cross-body release with 10-4 shape, able to miss bats and serves as an out pitch. Good student.
