Brad Jones is a 2008 OF with a 5'10'', 195 lb. frame from Walnut Creek, CA, who attends DeLaSalle HS. Jones has present strength in his body with athleticism. Defensively he moves well in the outfield getting to the ball quickly and under control. He gets good reads off the bat giving him good jumps. Jones has solid arm strength with accuracy on his throws. Jones really shows his skills with a bat in his hands. He is a left handed hitter who hits from a crouched stance and he has confidence in the box. He has good bat speed through the zone with a short and quick path to the ball. Jones gets leverage at the point of contact and he can drive the ball, especially to the pull side. He hits the ball hard, and Jones will hit for average and power. He projects as a middle of the order bat at the next level. He is a good student as well.
