Carter Daniels is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Columbia, SC who attends P27 Academy. Large athletic build with good present strength and room for more. Long, loose and fast arm action, 3/4's arm slot, gets his hips turned well at the top of his delivery but can be early with his front side and leave his arm behind. Fastball topped out at 95 mph, maintained his velocity very well and had 94-95 whenever he wanted it, short sink down in the zone and riding life up. Front side early on his slider more often than his fastball, creates some power to it when he finishes through it. Developing change up. Electric arm who will continue to improve as he develops consistency and feel. Very good student, verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.
