Colin Crosby is a 2022 1B/LHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Marriottsville, MD who attends Mount Saint Joseph. Large build with present strength and room to fill out. Ran a 8.79 second sixty-yard dash. Primary left handed pitcher. Employs a deliberate side step to belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound. Lands online with the plate and stays online with the plate through finish. Showed a long arm action in the back going to a mid three-quarter arm slot with developing arm speed. Displayed good feel for the strike zone throwing three pitches for a strike in any count. Features a fastball with good feel for the zone complemented by a 12/6 curveball with good depth and a fading change up with good feel for the zone at 59 mph. Also worked out defensively at first base. Displayed deliberate actions working to the baseball. Showed low out front funnels with confident glove actions. Flashed clean transfers into throws with developing arm strength and accurate carry across the diamond topping out at 65 mph. Left handed hitter. Emplys an upright stance with a small leg lift trigger. Flashed developing bat speed with good barrel control creating some solid contact to the pull side when on time and squared. Found the barrel well to the pull side when on time and squared.
