Patrick Saunders is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Thomasville, GA who attends Brookwood HS. Recorded a 7.43 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with broad shoulders and a projectable build. Primary righthanded pitcher with a funky delivery and deceptive arm action. Tight three-quarters arm slot and really hides the arm until the last possible second. Showed an 11/5 breaking ball and drops slot on it at times but shows good depth and quality to the offering. Fastball shows some sinking action and topped out at 77 mph during this look. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the outfield. Righthanded hitter with an open stance and hands close to his body. Line drive swing path with some barrel control. Gap to gap result is also the approach and when he's timed and synced up can work with some carry. Terrific student.
