Wyatt Goodknight is a 2020 1B/RHP with a 6-2 225 lb. frame from Manassas, VA who attends Heritage Christian. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.34 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance, leg lift trigger, strength is evident and stands out, length to stroke, has serious raw power when squared up, drove the ball deep pull side, showed ability to work up the opposite field gap as well, big impact when squared up. Worked out at first base, hands work well out front, fields cleanly and turns well, clocked up to 75 mph on throws. Also pitched, works from the stretch, compact arm stroke through the back, fairly simple mechanics, three quarters slot, fastball worked 76-78 mph with solid life, worked in curveball and changeup as well. Very good student.
