Bryan Vichot is a 2020 1B with a 6-2 240 lb. frame from Downey, CA who attends St. John Bosco High School. Large, broad shouldered build with present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.76 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front, shorter steps off the bag and overall footwork away from the base will continue to refine, longer arm stroke working to an over-the-top release point, worked on top of throws well and shows accuracy. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow starting close to body; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Very short and direct to the ball, quick launch and keeps hands inside the ball with swing. Gets the barrel to it well, pull side approach and able to turn on the ball, balance will continue to develop in swing, short finish through the ball.
