Chance Strausbaugh is a 2025 SS/OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Hilliard, OH who attends Hilliard Darby. Medium, athletic frame with present strength proportioned well throughout frame. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, young actions in the dirt, gets low behind the ball when fielding, longer arm action on throws across the diamond, arm strength will continue to develop. Lefthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and does a nice job of getting closed moving into contact. Stays short to the ball and shows present bat speed through the zone, opens front side early on occasion. Linear path through the zone and flashes lift at times with strength at contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field.
