Justin Humenay is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Beaconsfield, QC who attends Taft School. Medium frame with athletic, solid build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.10 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch, fast arm throughout, higher back elbow through arm circle, three quarters arm slot with angle to the plate, fastball worked 84-88 mph with good arm side life, firm slider with very good bite that misses bats, also flashed changeup with tumbling action, dominant performance in this event. Hits from even-based stance, gets lower half involved and brings hips into contact, good timing and bat speed combination, consistent barrel skills with extra base jump off the barrel, smoothness throughout. Very good performance in the outfield as well, moves well and comes in on the ball, footwork stands out, fields cleanly and works through with balance, clocked up to 92 mph on throws with zip and carry. Named to 2019 Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List, very good student.
