James Lee is a 2023 1B/C with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Mobile, AL who attends Ums-Wright Preparatory. Flashed a smaller frame with thicker build with some strength showing. Ran a 7.80 second sixty yard dash. Primary Firstbaseman who showed patience waiting back on the baseball gathering deep in his fielding position. Arm showed to be accurate at times when carrying weight into throws. Secondary catcher starting from a wide stance while staying low throughout. Showed a clean transfer. Lefthanded hitter with a narrow stance while slightly hunched over front side before working into a toe tap and go. Showed he could get extended with an uphill swing path. Middle to pull side approach while proving he can hit for the power to the pull side with some bat speed showing.
