Evan Rolison is a 2023 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, IF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Flower Mound. Recorded a 7.51 second sixty yard dash time. Large and well proportioned frame with a good chance to add additional strength, projects well moving forward. Primary catcher with a low and side straddle set up, has quickness throughout with some lower half flexibility. Smooth operation and footwork overall, has some things to like and will continue to improve. Also worked out in the infield, utilizes a clean funnel to the center and shows soft hands. Makes the plays and is athletic enough to make it work, could be a solid secondary position with further development. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a simple stride and step delivery and a shorter arm action. Drop and drive lower half mechanics, smooth mover on the mound and has a clean operation overall. Will continue to throw harder as he grows and gets stronger. Right-handed hitter with a strong and physical build, has an even base and utilizes a short leg lift trigger. Tends to speed himself up at times, being comfortable with his timing will be key. Smooth and good-looking swing when on time, produced some solid contact to the opposite field. Has the strength to drive balls into the gaps and hit for power. Projectable young player with a great chance to improve in multiple areas of his game. Excellent student.
