Aidan Morse is a 2022 RHP/3B/SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends St. Theodore Guerin. Recorded a 7.42 second 60 yard dash time. Large frame and long limbs with some strength to the build. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws across his body with head whack on the release. Closes himself off on the foot strike and causes some crossfire, creates a deceptive angle. Makes for an uncomfortable at bat for right handed hitters. Short wrenched stride down the mound, tends to miss glove side. Was up to 81 mph with a 63 mph curveball. Secondary third baseman, gets tall on the throws with a long gather and release. Stiff hands, developing glove work, at his best when moving up the middle. Shows nice carry across the diamond at 85 mph. Graded out higher as a hitter during this event. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance and a leg lift trigger. Ball comes off hard and makes loud contact when on time and on barrel. Shows explosive hips and hands, drove balls deep to the pull side during his round. Looks to do damage to the pull side. Can improve the consistency of the operation, projects well as a power hitter. Good student.
