Tucker Simpson is a 2020 1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Lake Creek HS. Recorded a 7.46 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with long limbs and room to fill out. Primary first baseman with accuracy across the diamond. Feet work well with good general feel for the position. Arm strength recorded up to 70 mph across that will continue to improve with strength. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and flat barrel path. Coils back into the load with a whole field approach. Good bat speed and works best on a gap to gap basis. Quiet load and keeps hands relaxed. Can create line drive contact to the pull side. Good student.
