Jaiden Onken is a 2023 RHP/ with a 5-6 165 lb. frame from Huffman, TX who attends Hargrave. Medium frame with compact build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.28 seconds. Primary pitcher, compact arm stroke to three quarters slot, fastball worked 69-71 mph with good running life, showed curveball with 11/5 shape and good spin, mixed pitches well and kept hitters off balance, good compete level on the mound. Hits from open stance, closes off well in stride, gets a little lengthy in hand load, middle-field approach, shows ability to work the other way. Worked out in the infield, deeper funnel, hands work, showed balance to actions, clocked up to 71 mph across. Also took first base reps and threw 69 mph across. Good student.
