Charles Evans is a 2024 C/OF, UT with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends St. Michael's Academy. Solid build with a thick lower half, strength present all over the current frame that shows. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, big arm strength down to the bag with throws up to 80-mph, staggered feet setup, replaces the feet well and lets it rip from the slot, short arm stroke with good release point that will play in game action. Right-handed hitter, very wide base with high hands and high back elbow set, has real bat speed present coming through the zone, minimal heel lift trigger out front, very direct and simple swing that is designed for contact and hard line drives, very strong in the hands and forearms and it shows with how it comes off the barrel, real power projection to this overall, put hard pull-side contact off the wall.
