Jacob Lynch is a 2021 C/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Valor Christian. Recorded a 7.18 second sixty-yard dash time. Small, compact frame with some present athleticism. Primary catcher; stays low to receive with short, quick footwork out of the crouch and slightly segmented mid-line transfers. Works slightly uphill to throw, incorporating a short, quick arm action that recorded arm strength up to 74 mph in drills. Secondary outfielder with good footwork into the fielding process, fielding slightly off to the side and keeping good momentum into release. Incorporates good lower half movements into crow-hop, recording arm strength up to 75 mph in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates a low, deep hand load and slightly closed stride to get to launch. Middle-of-the field approach with flatter swing plane, some present bat speed and developing feel for the barrel. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.
