Joshua Colvert is a 2023 OF/SS with a 5-7 139 lb. frame from Huntington, TX who attends Wolfe City. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.70 seconds. Hits from open stance with upright, narrow base, stays on backside through swing, hands load back, handsy swing overall with feel for contact out front, will improve as he gains strength. Worked out in the outfield, aggressive footwork to and through the ball, fields off to the side and wants to maintain momentum, clocked up to 67 mph on throws back to the infield. Good student.
