2022 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Brandon Reiter is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Melbourne, FL who attends Satellite. Young athletic build with plenty of physical projection. Has a balanced and fluid delivery on the mound, good tempo and nice drive down the mound, 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well for his age. Upper 70's fastball, lots more velocity in the tank as he matures physically, has been up to 82 at previous PG events, has arm speed and a clean release out front. Curveball showed quality spin and some late downer bit to it. Works both sides of the plate with good angle and some idea what he's doing. 7.48 runner in the sixty. Played first base and outfield when not on the mound and shows some foot and lower half quickness along with a smooth arm action. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a good lower half move into contact, inside swing path, flashes some young bat speed and juice off the barrel when he gets the bat head out front and turned. Very projectable young athletic player. Excellent student. Named to the Preseason HS Showcase Top Prospect List.
