Hayden Campbell is a 2023 C/2B, 3B with a 5-6 149 lb. frame from Huffman, TX who attends Hargrave. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.30 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, leans body back into load, rocks back a bit, flat path through the zone, leg lift trigger, shows ability to loft the ball at times, projects for strength, showed ability to work to all fields, good approach in game at-bats. Primary catcher, showed good set with balance, receives well, transfers cleanly and stays balanced, clocked up to 61 mph. Also took infield reps, short steps with balance to both sides, fielded cleanly in either direction, clocked up to 66 mph with good accuracy across the diamond. Very good student.
