Sam Siegel is a 2020 OF/RHP, 3B, SS with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Sioux Falls, SD who attends Lincoln. Showed good speed and athleticism, running a 6.78 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a medium frame that has room to fill out, and an athletic build. Has athletic and clean actions in approach, working to and through the ball well while maintaining momentum into throws. Has a long and loose arm action, making strong throws with accurate carry to bases at 83 miles per hour. Has a tall and slightly open stance at the plate, with a high back elbow and naturally lifted barrel plane. Has a middle of the field approach, showing some pop to all fields when on time and squared. Has good bat speed, impacting the ball well on line drives through the middle. Secondary right-handed pitcher that starts from the windup, with a small side step into a belt high leg lift. Stays slightly flexed at gather, going to drop and drive actions down the mound. Lands on line at foot strike, falling slightly to the glove side through finish. Has a long and loose arm action, with a good arm speed from a low three-quarter arm slot. Gets some good run to the arm side when on time with the fastball at 81-to-83 miles per hour, and mixes speeds well with a big breaking ball with 11-5 shape and big depth at 66 miles per hour.
