Chase Carmichael is a 2027 MIF/RHP with a 5-5 115 lb. frame from Grayson, GA who attends Grayson. Young, lean build with narrow shoulders and room to fill throughout and develop physically moving forward. Ran an 8.35 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves well laterally in the dirt, clean funnel with controlled actions, plays with intent and shows nice feel for actions too; arm strength and carry will continue to develop on throws, shows accuracy across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; patient approach and works on a linear path through the zone. Occasionally get mistimed coming off of backside, stays shorter to the ball with a longer finish through contact, shows some present bat-to-ball skills and bat speed will continue to develop with added strength. Excellent student.
