Luke Engelmeyer is a 2020 1B/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends Westminster Christian Academy. Long and angular build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly crouched stance with a turned in front side, busy hand load, long extended swing with good lift out front, swings hard and creates some bat speed, middle of the field approach, was well timed in his mechanics and projects to keep improving. 7.93 runner, has solid actions at first base defensively, stays low and has good hands that field the ball confidently, arm works well and he made accurate throws, also played the outfield. Outstanding student.
