Luke Werling is a 2024 C/2B with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from New Orleans, LA who attends Jesuit. Slender young build with plenty of growth ahead of him. Switch hitter, has a similar approach from both sides of the plate, starts from a narrow and open stance with a deep hand load and big barrel wrap, long and smooth upper body swing, showed better hand direction and feel for the barrel from the right side, type of approach that will work better as he gets stronger. 7.76 runner in the sixty, has young footwork behind the plate, compact arm action with some arm strength behind the plate that will continue to develop as he improves his lower half actions, aggressive throwing behind runners. Very good student.
