Bryce Ketelsen is a 2021 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Port Byron, IL who attends Riverdale. Primary first baseman with a slender frame. Stays aggressive to and through the baseball with quick feet that gain momentum toward the target. Throws to bags with an over the top slot and developing arm strength at 69 miles per hour. Secondary outfielder with developing actions and feel for the position. Has a deliberate approach to the baseball, fielding the ball on the side before a quick gather and throw. Throws from a lower three-quarters slot in the outfield with developing accuracy and carry to bases. Wide stance and a short leg lift trigger from the left side of the plate. Some rotational actions to the swing with a line drive barrel plane. Has a middle of the field to pull side approach with a direct hand path and present barrel control and feel. Shows most power when getting hands extended to the pull side, driving a hard double to the pull side gap in game action. Secondary left-handed pitcher. Compact arm action that works into a high three-quarters slot at release. Stays balanced throughout, repeating the delivery well. Works around the zone with a fastball at 66-to-68 miles per hour. Pitches off curveball with 1-to-7 shape and some good depth. Excellent student.
