Andrew Cuschieri is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Norwood, NJ who attends Northern Valley Regional. Recorded a 7.69 second sixty-yard dash time. Projectable frame with present strength and a high waist. Primary right-handed pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch with a belt high leg lift and shorter stride out to foot strike. Drop and drive lower half mechanics with present strength that will lead to more velocity in the future. Fastball worked in the mid-70s for the duration of his outing from a three-quarters arm slot and good command to both sides of the plate. Sequences fastball/curveball combination effectively, causing awkward swing-and-misses when in sync. Curveball shows 11-5 shape with repeatable arm speed and slower, gradual depth. Secondary outfielder with deliberate footwork into and through the fielding process. Incorporates a compact arm stroke to deliver throws recorded up to 74 mph in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, slightly open stance with a high hand set and high back elbow. Incorporates a small hover trigger for timing, downhill barrel plane and developing bat-to-ball skills. Middle-to-opposite field approach with best impact to the right side of the field when on time and in sync. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
