Jackson Fleming is a 2020 MIF/3B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Dana Point, CA who attends Dana Hills. Medium build with some length, plenty of room to fill out. Posted a 7.21 second sixty yard dash time. Primary middle infielder, fields out in front and gathers well. Transfers and releases the ball quickly across the diamond. Excellent accuracy to first base from multiple throwing slots. Makes strong first step reads off the bat and plays the ball aggressively. Good feel for reading hops and puts himself into good positions to make plays. At the plate, uses an open and spread stance that closes off after a mid-leg kick trigger. Hands stay quiet and direct to the baseball, works hard to stay inside. Loose and easy stroke overall with solid balance through contact. Strong hands generate great pop for his medium frame that sprays balls into both gaps. Middle of the field approach. Excellent student with a 4.75 GPA.
