Jack Martinez is a 2021 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Ray. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Fast paced delivery with good overall athleticism, drop and drive lower half mechanics but creates some angle when he's down in the zone, fast and loose arm coming through and out front. Fastball topped out at 89 mph early, showed some feel for working his fastball to different spots, cut his fastball at times with good effect. Curveball had some sharpness and depth at times, developing change up. Showed the ability to sequence his pitches and work to spots. 7.19 runner, right handed hitter with a loose swing with good bat speed, low hands in a big load but has hand speed and barrel to ball ability. Young live arm that hasn't thrown much and has a good chance to keep improving. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine South Showcase Top Prospect List.
