Stephen Kwak is a 2021 RHP/ with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Primary right-handed pitcher with a long and slender frame. Works exclusively from the stretch with drop and drive actions down the mound. Consistently lands slightly to the glove side, pulling pitches that way at times. Has short and stiff arm action, releasing from a high three-quarters slot. Developing command of the fastball that has some natural cut at 76-to-81 miles per hour. Mixes speeds with developing command and feel for a curveball at 65 miles per hour and changeup at 73 miles per hour. Development of the secondary pitches is the key to becoming more polished on the mound. Secondary outfielder that has a slow and controlled approach to the baseball. Over the top arm slot with some present carry at 79 miles per hour. Upright and slightly open stance at the plate, with a simple leg lift trigger and rotational lower half. Has a long path to the ball with a line drive barrel plane and developing barrel control. Excellent student.
