Nico Defazio is a 2022 SS/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Piedmont, CA who attends Piedmont. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.92 seconds. Hits from slightly open and upright stance, loads well, steeper path, length to stroke, projects for power, can work pull-side with authority, projects with strength. Worked out in the infield, plays tall, solid laterally, average hands out front, clean feet through, strong arm clocked up to 85 mph across. Good student.
