Jessie James Hager is a 2020 MIF/3B, OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Highlands Ranch. Primary middle infielder with an athletic build and room to fill out. Has some athletic actions in approach and clean transfers into throws. Developing arm strength at 70 miles per hour. Shows some impressive range and the ability to throw from multiple slots. Slightly open and upright stance from the right side of the plate, with a high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Hands start forward, drifting back into load. Has a line drive barrel plane with some developing bat speed and barrel feel. Drifts through the box at times. Shows the ability in game action to identify the inside pitch and get hands extended with a double down the left field line. Secondary right-handed pitcher. Starts from the windup with a rocker step into a belt high leg lift. Long, loose arm action into a high three-quarters slot at release. Normal effort delivery, flashes some command of a fastball at 69-73 miles per hour. Developing feel for a curveball with 10-to-4 shape and swing and miss depth.
