Alex Harrington is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Maranatha Christian Schools. Long and athletic frame with twitch and projection. Ran a 6.65 second 60-yard dash, has run 6.41 in the past. Primary shortstop, very athletic with balance and range, moves well to both sides and has very good hands, moves into throws well and shows easy arm strength across with the tools for shortstop long-term. Right-handed hitter, slightly open setup and moves in well, very fast hands and works direct to it, generates real bat speed already and can torque hard, full finish and leverages well to impact the ball in the air to the pull gap with ease, very consistent in game and rarely strikes out, showed very well against some higher-end arms. Verbal commitment to Stanford. Named to 2022 14u Perfect Game Select Festival.
