Jacob Boyster is a 2022 MIF/RHP/UT with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Cabot, AR who attends Cabot. Medium build with plenty of time and room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a crouched wide stance with some drift into contact, deep hand load, direct hand path to the ball, uses his lower half well to help generate bat speed, will get too far out front at times, some gap to gap pop when he's on time, hitting tools to continue to develop. 7.64 runner, third base actions on defense, developing arm strength, throws tend to tail at present. Also pitched, mid 3/4's arm slot, works exclusively from the stretch, hips will get out in front of his arm at times but tends to miss arm side when the arm is late. Fastball topped out at 73 with early running action, change up copies his fastball well. Good student.
