Aaron Brashear is a 2024 RHP/MIF, OF with a 6-6 190 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Katy. Primary right-handed pitcher with a long lean build showing plenty of room to add strength as he continues to mature. Starts with a short sidestep staying stacked over the rubber as he works through a leg lift above the belt and some tall and fall actions coming down the hill, still getting good extension from his 6-foot-6 frame. The fastball sat in the mid 80’s with short arm side run getting to both halves at times. Showed an ability to throw three pitches for strikes with a slurvy breaking ball that he can manipulate the shape on and a fading changeup allowing him to work both arm and glove side with his off speeds. Very good student.
