Yeferson Tineo is a 2019 SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Orlando, FL. Medium frame with slender, athletic build. 15 years old at time of showcase, will turn 16 in November. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Switch-hitter, showed feel from both sides of the plate. More inside-out approach from right side with ability to work to right field, smoother and looser stroke from the left side with better bat speed and hands, worked back through the middle consistently. Shows good footwork and overall athletic twitch in the middle infield, works well to both sides, accelerates through the ball while fielding cleanly, quick release, profiles best at second base, clocked up to 84 mph on throws.
