Gavin Lengacher is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Pittsboro, IN who attends Tri-West Senior. Long and lean frame, lots of room to continue to fill out physically. Ran a 7.32 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, works off of the mound exclusively from the stretch beginning with a high leg lift, takes his arm back to a full and online arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, stays online to the plate, stayed around the zone with his combination of pitches, pitched best when releasing the baseball out in front with full extension at release. Fastball topped out at 74 mph flashing varying spin leading to life occasionally, mixed in a curveball with developing spin. Secondary first baseman, young actions at first base fielding the baseball with an upright gather, releases with a narrow base and developing arm strength. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an even stance, utilizes a leg lift trigger into swing, worked the ball to all parts of the field with developing bat speed, weight sits on backside and will improve pop with the implement of a weight shift into contact.
