Coltrane Rubner is a 2021 OF/RHP, SS with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Livonia, MI who attends Stevenson. Ran a 7.18 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a tall frame and a strong and athletic build. Works through the ball well, taking good angles to the ball before fielding off to the side. Has a clean transfer to throw, showing good arm speed on throws. Has present arm strength up to 86 miles per hour, making accurate throws with carry to bases. Has an upright and open stance at the plate, with a small leg lift trigger and and an elevated path to contact. Shows some good power to the pull side, driving multiple balls over the right field wall in batting practice. Has good bat speed, swinging with intent to impact the ball. Recorded a 91 mile per hour exit velocity, and swings translated to game action with multiple well-struck hits. Good student. Named to 2019 PG Midwest Top Prospect Games, Top Prospect List.
