Max Stocco is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Shorewood, WI who attends Marquette. Ran a 7.51 second sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a young frame that has plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Fields out front, showing good glove actions throughout and some carry across the diamond. Shows the ability to come through the ball well and can make throws from multiple slots. Left-handed hitter with a spread stance and loose swing. Shows good barrel feel with developing bat speed and a high-contact approach. Approach plays in game action with multiple hits. Secondary right-handed pitcher with simple and repeatable delivery. Has a compact arm action, maintaining fastball velocity throughout the outing at 74-76 miles per hour. Flashes feel to spin a slider, challenging hitters with both pitches and mixing in a mid-60s changeup as well. Shows good command and tempo on the mound.
