2022 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Mason Shulman is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Calabasas, CA who attends Calabasas. The medium sized athletic framed outfielder displayed proper footwork and glove technique. He delivers the throws with old fashioned crow hop. The arm strength is above average with quality carry and one hop accuracy to the bag. At the plate, he sets up with narrow upright stance and hanging leg kick load. The path is slightly lofted, leveraging ball deep in the pullside gaps by utilizing sizable lowers and strong hands. He tends to get the foot down a tick late at times but makes up for it with explosive bat speed. 7.51 60 yard. Outstanding student. Named to the Top Prospect team.
