Carson Lane is a 2023 OF/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 122 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Huntington Beach HS. Recorded a 8.30 second 60-yard dash time. Lean body with a slender, young frame and room to fill out. Primary outfielder with quickness to his feet and a long arm stroke through the back. Fluidity to his actions with looseness to the arm stroke and arm strength recorded up to 76 mph. Accurate throws and good feel for actions and positional awareness. Arm strength plays well from secondary position of the infield. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short turn step into a leg lift at the belt. Clean delivery and strides online toward the plate with extension and good direction. Higher arm slot with a full arm stroke and a softer curveball. Strikes to both sides and maintains velocity. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, slightly open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Linear swing plane through the zone with a deeper barrel start. Good student.
