Jack Allison is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Mountain Brook. Medium slender build with plenty of room to fill into as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a shorter arm action from a three-quarters slot. Side steps into a high leg lift in his windup. Good direction down the hill, finds good extension with length. Competes hard with every pitch, fastball up to 74 mph. Mixes it well to both sides of the plate, breaking ball is an 11-to-5 shaped curveball. Also threw a 66 mph changeup. In the infield, moves well into the hole as well as up the middle. Keeps his feet moving to and through the baseball. Longer arm action across the diamond, fields out in front. Arm strength will develop nicely alongside his build. At the plate, has an even and hunched over stance with a simple stride trigger. Looks to use the middle of the field, good student in the classroom as well.
