Anthony Marino is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Lynn, MA who attends Bishop Fenwick. Medium height with lots of room to fill out the slender frame. Ran a 7.32 sixty yard dash. A primary shortstop, really light on the feet as he rounded the ball to both sides. Funnels quickly and consistently with plenty of arm strength to make any throw on the infield. A switch hitter. Pretty advanced stroke from the right side using a leg lift trigger. Hands work and adjust well as he barreled hard line drives to the pull side. Developing left-handed stroke, has some feel for the barrel and all fields approach. Also pitches, athletic delivery with quickness to the shoulder and a clean arm stroke. Works downhill with some ride to the fastball. Landed an 11/5 curveball and sinking changeup. Goes after hitters from start to finish. Very good upside as he matures. Good student.
