2007 Holiday Open Showcase
Alexis Rodriguez is a 2007 RHP that attends Barbara Goleman HS and resides in Hialeah, FL with a 6'2", 165 lb. frame. Alexis has a lean athletic build with some room to fill out. On the mound Alexis throws from a low 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. Alexis is efficient with his pitches and shows a solid 10 to 4 curveball. Mechanically, Alexis will tend to open up early and needs to work on finishing online with the plate. Once Alexis gets a little more out of his lower half he should see his velocity pick up a good amount. Alexis is a player that could attract the attention of some smaller college programs.
