Sylas Clerry is a 2021 3B/RHP/2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Flagstaff, AZ who attends Flagstaff HS. Medium athletic build with good present strength and room for more. 7.209 runner, has good lower half quickness and is light on his feet on defense, mature footwork, charges and works through the ball well, has soft hands and fields cleanly out front, makes accurate throws, probably profiles best at second base in the future. Right handed hitter, hits with a big leg lift load that will leave him late at times, has a loose and smooth swing when he's on time, some developing bat speed and gap to gap pop, line drive swing plane with some hand strength at contact. Also pitched, has a loose whippy arm action, extended 3/4's arm slot, low effort delivery. Mid-70's fastball, mostly straight, curveball has some spin with 11/5 shape. Good student.
