Jarod Romero is a 2023 3B/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Eagle Pass, TX who attends Eagle Pass. Ran a 7.44 60 yard dash. On the mound, works quick and has a compact delivery. He shows good pitchability with a four pitch mix. His fastball was up to 83 MPH and has good downhill life. His slider was at 75 and had some depth to it along with a curveball at 72. His changeup has late tumble and was at 69 MPH. Shows good athleticism in the field where the arm plays well in the infield. Plays with some swag and moves well to both sides. At the plate, shows off a heavy barrel and has a nice ability to keep the bat on plane. Solid hit tool and the swing is very compact. His max exit velocity was 90 MPH. Good potential with this swing.
