Sergio Gonzalez is a 2022 SS/ with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Bellflower, CA who attends St. John Bosco. Medium developing build with present athleticism and room to still strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, fields out in front and showcases good softness to his glove work overall. Moves well into the hole as well as up the middle. Arm strength across the diamond is proficient and will continue to improve. Good accuracy even while on the move. At the plate, uses a slightly open and upright stance with a hanging leg lift trigger. Works to keep his hands inside the baseball. Good pop to his pull side when catching the ball out in front. Slight sway pre-pitch, middle of the field approach, excellent student in the classroom as well.
