Dante Aliberti is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-5 158 lb. frame from Pompano Beach, FL who attends Highlands Christian Academy. Compact frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Primary shortstop, stay low while traveling to the ball and worked through pick up cleanly. Stays balanced while ranging to the baseball and flashed the ability to throw from multiple arm angles. Throws produced accurate carry to the bag topping at 79 mph. Switch handed hitter with a balanced stance and simple load. Clean, compact hand path to the baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Displayed good feel for the barrel with the ability to work to all fields from the right side. Generated solid bat speed from the left side with the strength to split the gaps when squared. Also pitched showing a smooth paced delivery. Compact arm action at separation and released from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball created occasional downhill tilt sitting in the mid 70's, topped at 76 mph. Also flashed a curveball offering that produced proper shape with some depth in the mid 60's. Good student as well.
