Jackson Beatty is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-2 176 lb. frame from Venice, FL who attends Venice Senior. Medium and projectable frame with some strength present in his lower half and plenty more room to fill. Only pitched at the event, primary righthanded pitcher, works only from the stretch on the mound, balances on his back leg and works to the plate with balance and a strong lower half, takes his arm back to a full arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, takes a shorter stride down the mound with a slightly closed off landing. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with plenty of life to armside especially when down in the strike zone, he mixes in a slider and curveball each with tight spin and developing shape, changeup has similar life as the fastball, projects well on the mound and repeats delivery. Good student.
